What is the EPA Campus Rainworks Challange?
One of the biggest projects that CP WaterWorks participates in is the EPA Campus RainWorks Challenge. This is a competition hosted by the Environmental Protection Agency and encourages students to come up with solutions to stormwater pollution on their college campus. Teams of both undergraduate and graduate students design an innovative green infrastructure project for the campus that effectively manages stormwater pollution while benefiting the campus community and the environment. Elected design team captains lead teams of roughly 10 students each in designing stormwater management projects for the competition.
No experience is necessary to participate on the team! The competition begins winter quarter.
Can you receive tech elective creidt for participating?
The EPA Rainworks Challenge can be done to gain 1 unit of Technical Elective credit. You can also join the team as a volunteer for no credit.
